In order to develop intercultural competences we have to understand how the other people think, feel and act. We need intercultural competences not only to understand people from different cultures, we also need them to overcome differences within our own culture.
The Intercultural Learning for Pupils and Teachers Project has developed a training course for teachers focused on intercultural competences. The course is complemented by classroom instructions, namely a toolbox, to include elements of the course into the school curriculum.
We have trained 14 multipliers from the project partnership, to run the training courses for teachers in the period October 2017-March 2018. Here you can have a look at the programme of the multipliers’ training. The sessions in yellow are the ones constituting the core of the teacher trainings that are offered by the multipliers at local level.
The detailed training sessions are now available only for the multipliers that have been trained within the project. These training sessions are being piloted between September 2017 and March 2018. For more information on the local trainings, check here.
